2015 Lincoln MKC is a luxury compact SUV that was introduced as the brand’s first entry into the segment. It was based on the Ford Escape, but it featured a more upscale design, interior, and features.
The MKC was available in two trim levels: Premiere and Reserve. The Premiere came standard with features such as a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a six-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a seven-speaker sound system. The Reserve added features such as a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, all-wheel drive, 19-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a 10-speaker sound system.
The MKC was powered by a choice of two turbocharged four-cylinder engines. The base 2.0-liter engine produced 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The optional 2.3-liter engine produced 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque. Both engines were paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
